William (Bill) Giles – Managing Director
A keen Sailor & Surfer from a very young age, Bill has gained a wealth of experience as both master & crew in a wide range of Power & Sailing vessels.

Bill established hi own Marine Consultancy (est. 1983) and has spent the last ten years in Thailand advising a local Group of Companies on the design, construction & operation of a fleet of Aluminium High Speed Catamaran Ferries, plus a variety of Scuba Diving Vessels.

Giles Marine Co., Ltd. – Aluminium Boat Building Specialists is the latest development in Bill’s long involvement with the Boating Industry in both Thailand. & Australia .

Khun Suraporn Thumrongpiriyapan – Technical Director
Suraporn has degree in Marine Engineering from Thailands Songkran University.  He has over 25 years experience in the Thai Boat Building Industry & has held Senior Production Manager positions at major Thai Shipbuilding companies.

Projects completed (Aluminium) including Crowther Design – 20m, 25m & 26m High Speed Catamaran Ferries. 35m Patrol Boats (2) for the Thai Navy in association with Australian Sub-Corp. plus various smaller commercial and recreational vessels.

Khun Bopit Boonkorkua – Engineering & Fabrication
Bopit heads a team of Highly Skilled Aluminium Shipbuilding personnel.  His Aluminium welders are DNV Certified and all work is subject to a Comprehensive Quality Control System.

After more than 20 years in the Shipbuilding Industry, Bopit & his team have a well earned reputation for Excellence, having successfully completed many Shipbuilding projects in both Aluminium & Steel.
